Once again, I am staggered at the mentality of the person who drove (I hesitated to use the word 'drove' as that implies a degree of skill and control) that car and went off thinking that that was in any way acceptable.Europa1 said:

Chap, seriously, we get the message. Move on.However, there was recent thread with somebody who wanted to park his car a few streets away from his front door, as it was waking his own close neighbours up when he started it in the mornings. He might actually be able to help in this instance by dumping his car there first for long periods.

Came out the gym yesterday morning to find this. There was a cm gap between bumpers but no marks to tell if he used my MINI as a parking guide.
Unfortunately I was able to open the boot without hitting his car.
For two reason, I am Mr. Perfect and parking, and I am st scared if I don't perfectly some PH member will jump out of the bushes with a camera.
I just couldn't park like that. But that's me.
Must have very understanding neighbours, this car always straddles two numbered parking spaces, not always this bad though. The houses there don't have garages, so I am guessing one space is allocated to one house.
The one to the right of the picture is an end one as well next to a path, so absolutely no reason why they don't park next to the kerb.

Funnily enough I popped over yesterday and dared to park outside their house as the space was free. Within a minute or 2 of arriving I got a rather curt message, with mild swearing, from one of the occupants telling me to move and not to park outside their house. Quite ironic and amusing that they don't like other people parking outside their house, but are pretty happy to do it to others themselves - knobs.

They could of course have two spaces but only one car.
You could be right, with parking skills like that, probably need two spaces. Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
