Causing him embarrassment apparently............

I don't get the half and half hence I think its badly done.
"Based on a GT2RS"

No it's not as it would be worth 5 times this.

He should have said "Made to look like a GT2RS"....I'm guessing.

And "people shouting and screaming" at him......Really ?

Yeah the screaming at him is probably the people that know what a mess his caused/made of the car.

What's the point of this type of exhaust?

plus ridiculous 'stance'
Shakotan - it's like the Japanese version of "Scene", with very OTT anime-style mods. It starts off with those kinds of exhausts, some stancing, and an external oil cooler on the front bumper.
It usually finishes up like this:

Genuine question to those of you who have clearly taken the some of the photos in this thread - did you comment to the owner that their car is st / badly modified?
No. To do so would usually result in having one's head kicked in, given the demographic of owners who do these kinds of mods
Isn't the car more Bosozoku then shakotan.
Indeed it is, Shakotan is much more subtle, more lowering and wheels that crazy bodykits and exhuasts.

The work car park always delivers. Beyond tragic.

Let's hope we don't get too many old Doris modifying their cars!

There's a horrible Matt green Evoque sometimes seen on the M60 near Oldham on a morning.

Not sure about this one. It's got a terrible bodykit but perhaps with colour and wheels changed it could be saved?
I have been known to be too optimistic though.

Agree. Lose the Monster stickers and that's a awesome toy. Bit annoying though that there is not one picture of the engine bay in the ad, the V8 is a massive part of the appeal.
