Can see it on google earth, though when put into streetview it doesnt appear to be there...not sure which is more up to date.

So, where is it? and can you see it from a nearby road at all?

It's there as I saw it last month when taking off. Not sure if it's visible from a road though.

You can see it from the A30 near Hatton Cross.

Should be visible from the 'spotters field' there.

The 'look down' imagery seems to be the more up to date. That's showing as 2014 data. The StreetView image has a copyright date of 2014, but an image date of June 2012.

OK, who's nicked it then laugh

Parking the car in S1 this morning and noticed that BOAB has gone AWOL over the weekend. I presume it's been towed around to the back of maintenance somewhere for a clean or ....... ???

There was a British Airways "Family and Friends" event at LHR this weekend including the visit of one of Airbus's test A350's and I suspect that the Concorde was moved to be included in that event.

It was certainly there on the 23rd May when I flew out of T2

I did see a picture of it getting towed over the weekend. Of course we could make a nice rumour about it being parked on double yellows....

It was at the engineering event, had a wash, as it was looking a bit green when I last saw it during the winter, and is/was sitting in one of the hangers.

She was sat in the Hangar opposite Hatton Cross Station at about 16:30 last Friday when I drove past.

As above, she was moved for the A350 arrival

She was in the hanger for a BA Explore day, I was there and will post up some pics when I get a minute, the guy said it was a bit of a struggle as the wheels had seized and the tyres were flat. So sad, no doubt it will be chucked back outside to rot shortly.

The day was great though!

It was back in it's parking bay this morning - and it does look like they spent half an hour running a pressure washer over it at least......

Such a shame, is it true that they ripped all the wiring out of the remaining planes so that there is next to no chance of them ever flying again?
