Someone made a frankly insane graphics mod for the pc version. I was sure I was looking at film props etc until I saw some of the clipping issues with feet etc.

I'm a battlefield fan so thought I might like this but as has been said I just didn't feel it. There doesn't seem a strategy and maybe I like it to feel more real life rather than space invaders. I'll give it a little longer but after an hour of Game play tonight I switched back to bf4.

You get these sort of power up weapons that you can unlock. They're one shot weapons which after they're fired have a cooldown time of a few seconds. The first is a charge up rifle that actually's quite fun to use as on full charge it's capable of making an enemy ragdoll into the air from far range & is an instant kill weapon. The second is a like a regular one shot sniper rifle. Same again, it takes a few seconds to use it again but this one isn't a guaranteed one hit kill weapon. But unlike the other weapon you don't need to charge it first.
Had a go and unlocked this charge up Sniper. Had a good few kills, it just takes too long to load! Plus the scope is awful - I just want a powerful gun and a scope without having to play it for 60hrs! Getting fed up of spraying 100 shots to the other side of the map!russy01 said:

That's the problem, I'm not sure you can. This is why I got bored of the game so quickly, there are no options, you can only really play it one way, charge in, spay like mad from the hip (no point in aiming properly) until you get taken down, rinse repeat.Guvernator said:

I found this when playing the beta. You have to re-adjust, and realise you will die lots. It's star wars; stormtroopers are supposed to be cannon fodder!

The appeal to me is the constant stream of cross fire, running into it without taking too many hits and taking people out.
There are also those excellent moments when you get a thermal imploder onto an objective wiping out 5 or more guys
For me its just fun, I don't need to think about a strategy or get annoyed at my team mates being crap. I can just run in making blaster sounds looking like a storm trooper and picking off rebel scum. The fact I can do that whilst armed with a light saber is just an added bonus!
I am interested to see where the expansions go, will we see a space themed one with a Star destroyer/death star themed map? Or will they just pump out maps from the new films. Some more heros would be good IG-88 would be an interesting one and maybe Chewie.
The most fun I've had, so far, is in Heroes v Villains! Superb little 6v6 mode and actually needs some strategy to keep your hero alive. Also took me ages to realise I was so bad at Fighter Squadron because I wasn't locking on with L2 which isn't just for missiles, but for lasers too!

Getting bored of this now too. In a good game its really enjoyable, but in a bad game its too easy for the enemy to camp the opponents spawn both on foot and in the air vehicles. The spawn video sequence in an air vehicle also leaves you completely open to being destroyed as soon as you gain control. If it were physically possible to reach through the screen and strangle people I would be absolutely worn out this afternoon.
