I have a 1999 V70 classic 2.5 diesel......i'm worried I just been stiffed on a service where the air filter was changed, the fuel filter, and pollen filter along with the oil and oil filter

The handbook shows me where the air filter is, so i can have a look at it, and see if it looks new......I'm suspicious as it does not look like it's been opened as there are no scuff marks around the lid to show it's been replaced as the dust looked very settled.

But, where is the pollen filter?
and where do i find the fuel filter?

(this is obviously someone who does not know his way around an engine!
cheers

Pollen filter is behind the glovebox on the P2 cars; hopefully it's in the same place for the P1: If you sit in the front passenger seat and lift your feet up, your toes are poking the panel you need to remove to check it (there may be a further panel beneath that). When you're putting it back on, don't overtighten the screws as the threads are very easy to strip.

Fuel filter (on the P2 cars) is in a cylindrical container just in front of the offside (right) rear wheel.

Didn't look, recognise a leg pull when I see one....but, good try, I'll wait until a mate of mine who knows his way around an engine can look for me!

Mind you if you unscrew the CD player in the boot, sometimes there is a free Volvo service letter taped to the base.........

I thought the cabin filter was under the plastic cover to the right of the bulkhead.

I wasn't pulling your leg - unless I'm due a woosh parrot?

Not a leg-pull. it's in the passenger footwell, against the bulkhead. 4 T25 torx screws to remove the bottom cover, then just slide the filter out.
