Proflow headers
Discussion
Just an update on my ProFlow header install, all went well straight forward fitting following the advice already given though i can add that the chassis brackets do still fit with no modifications you just have to fit them before you bolt the header to the head whilst everything is still floating around the engine bay. I also made a small bracket to move the clutch pipe well back from the header pipes
I also took some time to make my own cat/decat pipes to mate up with the wortec cat back. the decat pipes are 3" with built in O2 sensor spacers that seem to be working (no lights come on dash or check engine messages)
The cat pipes im yet to try out but they are ready to fit if needs be they are 3.5" at the collector end passing through 200 cell magnaflow cats reducing down to 3"
I've driven it in various conditions cruising motorway and town and there's zero drone just Nascar noise from the rear without being to noisy in the cabin, so all in all im happy

How many clutch pipe brackets did you make?
I was thinking of making another as the one fitted was a bit of a lash up that worked so I left it, if I get time to re visit it I'll make a spare talking of spares I now have your old 1-5/8" headers going spare totally derusted and matt blacked and some 2.5" difilippo decat pipes if you know anyone looking for such items tell them to pm me Gassing Station | HSV & Monaro | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
