Idiot drives onto a live race track and ruins our race!!!

Stupidity beyond words. These "gangsters" thought it would be great to drive his girlfriends car onto a live track!!!! The scream the girl lets out as they are driving down the pit lane, is me almost driving into the side of them as I'm released from a pit stop, only stopped by the quick thinking of my pit crew!!! They then drive all the way around, ruined the end of a good race for everyone. Complete muppets, really hope Brands prosecutes based on the evidence on their video!!

We started 21st up to 8th dropped to 13th finish 11th out of 25 cars. Good day till these prats turned up and had to call a halt to proceedings. They tried to re-grid and finish with a ten minute sprint, ended in red flag due to carnage into Druids and that was the end of that. A story to tell though!!

I'm afraid its real, couldn't believe it as I followed this clown out of the pit, my car passes in shot before he drops the camera. It's on YouTube, quite how he got through the scrutineering garage I'm not sure, pretty sure we'll see a tightening of paddock access, real shame for everyone else who gets to see the goings on behind a working pit garage. I feel these clowns (I've got their number btw) need to be made an example of, to stop other morons thinking it's a good idea!! It will be a civil matter, if Brands decide to prosecute and it will be trespassing and endangerment of life as they clearly intended to join a live race track. No one had ever seen anything like it. The kids currently have the media at their front door asking about the incident. This will rumble on for a while..........

You might be correct, but based on their own posted video, its clear it was deliberate. I can tell you there were about seventy odd drivers who were ready to dish out their own punishment. Rude and aggressive was the description give by the Marshall who stopped them, only wish I was there!!!! Just seen this clip on Youtube via Facebook, independent of your posting here. i.e. it's certainly viral already.
It reminded me of the finale of Smokey and the Bandit... funny, but only in the movies.
If it was my race he ruined I'd have wanted to clobber him. I hope he gets his comeuppance!

A similar thing happened at Brands around 1980. Someone entered the circuit at the entrance near Paddock bend and is supposed to have got into the track without using the pit tunnel, they reckoned they were trying to find the road to Dover and didn't realise there was anything wrong until the marshalls flagged them down.
