Testing pillow bushes off the car?

Hey guys,

I have a load of suspension arms that I am restoring and changing the pushes with poly ones.

There are 6 pillow ball bushes in total that are fricking expensive but are known to fail. Now I don't want yo change these unless I have to....however how can I check them with the suspension off the car?
