Auto box oil cooler for our 850R

The auto box on the R was placed by the previous owner only 4 years ago and less than 25k ago, however we are intending on towing with her at some point soon, with the auto box I've read that an additional oil cooler is recommended, we also are intending to go to the south of France so with variations in gradients and heat id hate to cook the box, one day she will have a proper box an I will do a Manual conversion but if it's not broke why fix it!!

Does anyone have any experience of having this done and any garage recommendations. We are northants based.

Some of the later V70/C70 autos have twin trans coolers - Mines a C70 T5 GT Auto and has twin trans coolers - one being built into the radiator and an external one - I know this because I've just stuck a new rad in mine.

additionally the 850 4 speed autobox is about the toughest they ever fitted to a volvo so should be fine - might be worth doing a transmission oil change with the correct oil - I know some of the later versions run a synthetic transmission oil but I'm not sure yours does. Messy job to do properly as you need to fully empty the box with engine running.
