Faux hall combo/corsa leak

Help! My combo van(corsa) 55 plate has soaking wet floor to front and back driver side floor and water coming in on near side also.seems to be 2 different problems.cant see any trace of entry to driver side problem,but near side only happens after car is moved after wet weather,so it would appear the water is sitting up until the car moves at which point it runs into the front footwell

Driver side water leak will be the servo plate seal has cracked allowing water to get in there. You can seal it up with normal sealer should do the trick but its a pig to do.

The passenger side water leak I reckon is either the BCM box is leaking which is very bad news and/or The air intake for the HVAC seal is leaking.

Whilst your round the scuttle check the drain ports are clear of debris and aren't blocked. They are two little rubber/plastic flaps on the bulkhead area

I had water leaking from the BCM as you moved off about five years ago, I replaced the lid as the seal was perished it cost about £20 from Vauxhall. As a precaution I drilled drainage holes in the bottom of the box and haven't had a problem since. I clean out the area of leaves and muck once a year.

BCM = Body Control Module. It's a box of electrickey that does not like getting a bath!

Some good advice on here ! The bcm hates water ingress defiantly do all of the above posts including drilling holes in the bottom of the bcm box

i've had to fix both! Just like your, passenger footwell fine, then drive away and about half a litre of water floods into the footwell!

bcm cover is £15ish direct from vx and can be done without moving the scuttle panel and battery if your careful.

Drivers side was brake servo seal leaking into cabin - needs removing and resealing. Also check drains - they frequently get blocked and leak back into the car

edit - just check the water isnt coolant (and coolant levels are constant) if so the matrix is likely to have gone.
