Sounds good to have it at a different venue. Any ideas if there are any events there on that date?

Perhaps some more people will come along to this now that Pistonfest has been canceled?

It's in the PF thred here:-

It is with great regret that due to low ticket sales we have made the difficult decision to cancel PistonFest 2014. Events like PistonFest are intended to be fun and appealing to our community, but also prove a challenge in getting the right level of content vs. the cost of tickets. Clearly we got it wrong with PistonFest. But hey, nobody is perfect We’ve got plenty of other ideas for events that we’ll continue to work on in the background and we’re looking forward to getting some feedback from the community in due course and bringing lots of exciting events to life in the future.

The good news is that Sunday Services continue to be a smash hit, and the one that was scheduled to happen the day after PistonFest is still going ahead and already has over 600 cars signed up. Furthermore, most of the activities, guests and goodies that were arranged for PistonFest have been transferred over to the Sunday so it’s set to be a fantastic day. There are still some places so to add your name to the list, click here.

So, this mega-sunday-service will benefit from:
Catering to provide you with some much needed Sunday morning food (bacon) and a van supplying some lovely refreshments including gourmet coffee.
Dunlop are still offering goodies, including the chance to win a set of tyres for your car
Caterham will still be holding their wheel change challenge with some great prizes for the fastest time.
Autoglym will also be there with some goodie bags, valeting demos and also offering a fantastic prize to the winner of the show and shine to go to their lab and have your car cleaned to a professional standard, they’ll even show you how to do it so you’ll have no excuse for not having an immaculate car in the middle of winter.
There’s no reason not to sign up to this Sunday Service as you’ll be getting lots of goodies and as ever it is completely FREE. We look forward to seeing you there.

Thanks for signing up to the upcoming Sunday Service at Herts County Showground this Sunday the 31st of August.
As you'll have seen, it's set to be one of the biggest and best Sunday Services ever with over 730 cars signed up and plenty of goodies to give away courtesy of Porsche, Autoglym, Caterham and Dunlop. It should be a great event and we're looking forward to seeing you all there.
We are holding a "Show & Shine" competition on the day with an awesome prize from the lovely guys at Autoglym. If you want your car to be included, make sure you let us know on the gate when you arrive as you will be directed to a different area of the showground (but right next to the main Sunday Service). If you're car isn't in the correct place, it cannot be included and won't be judged. Sorry!

As is often the case, this Sunday Service is held in a residential area so please try to keep the noise to a minimum and respect the speed limits. The address you're aiming for is:

Herts County Showground
Dunstable Road
Redbourn
St. Albans
Hertfordshire AL3 7PT

Click here for a link to Google Maps

Please enter the showground via Gate D, the gate will open at 0900 (Please don't arrive before) and close at 1300 and as always there will be somewhere to buy breakfast and refreshments..

If you're no longer able to attend, please remove yourself from the list by clicking here and following the link at the bottom of the page.

Please ensure you print out the smiley and place it in your windscreen so it can be seen to try and speed things up a little by. Click here to download smiley.

We look forward to seeing you on Sunday

The PH team.
