Flying in to Paris the other day, with Paris on the right hand side of the aircraft, I noticed what looked like a pretty decent kart or small race circuit, also on the right hand side of the aircraft.

Just wondered what it was exactly? If memory serves correctly, it was between Paris and the airport.

The Circuit Carole is just south of CDG in Tremblay so I expect that is what you saw. IIRC its mostly used by bikes and karts.

Yup, that's Circuit Carole. Named after a girl that was killed watching the illegal bike races in central Paris back in the day. The authorities built the track to stop bikers racing on the road.

It's 68€ for an afternoon, and it's even free at weekends smile
