2007 RR Sport Tdv6 traction control system question

Hi going round some corners the traction kicks in when not needed. Car is running bigger wheels than standard. They are 285 35 22 wheels/tyres toyo proxes. Any idea why? Would normal wheels rectify it? Thanks for any advice I know nothing about these things normally on Porsche forum :-)
I don't have a definitive answer for this but I suspect you mean DSC rather than traction control. The two are very different on a RRS.
It could be due to the larger wheels and tyres, although plenty of people run these presumably without issues. I have known a flat front tyre cause DSC to cut in but I'm guessing thats not the case.
Try driving the car in Grass Gravel Snow and Sand Mode on the Terrain Response.
Both of these settings change the parameters on DSC. effectively making it less intrusive. Whilst perfectly safe, you won't want to drive the car in these settings long term but I would think if DSC is still activating then the system must think for some reason that it needs to interact. It might need a visit to a dealer to see if there is a software or hardware problem.

Was asking as my mates 06 D3 did similar behaviour and it was down to worn rear upper suspension arms, worn hub bushes and needing drop links.
That bit of play in the suspension was enough to kick the system in on certain corners.
May be worth checking out, jack the rear up and support it, give the wheel a shake and if it has any movement you may need some work done.
