Hi all , still looking at options for rear end repair and as all mountings for pumps swirl pot and filter were damaged it has been suggested that I fit a pump inside the tank whilst I get it baffled , this eould then lead to not needing both pumps or a swirl pot . Bit worried this may still lead to fuel starvation , and would it be legal within regs hope some wise person can enlighten me thanks Chris

It's not as simple as adding baffles. You need an internal collector with trap doors and baffles to direct fuel into them. Or an internal collector with low pressure pumps with pick up pumps in each corner of the tank feeding the collector. Thanks guys , putting baffles in was a seperate upgrade to stop the 25kg sloshing about over the rear axle , trying to get any advantage to compensate for my inept driving skills . Left car with Ian at sportmotive today to start repairs , getting new rear of JR next week , can't do owt myself as I'm off to Italy tomorrow on family hols .hope to get to Snet but most probably spectating . Chris
