Hey guys,

New to Pistonheads but had a look about and can't see many event like this, so I thought I'd ask.

Are there any planned rolling road, dyno days being planed and or has anything like this been done through PH SW before?

It sounds like you have somewhere in mind ?

I only know of 2 or 3 places with a RR and none of them (that i'd use) do 4wd for me !

I know of two that have a AWD dyno, both located around Plymouth and if there are over about 20 cars it's only about £25 for two runs and a print out.

We hold a kitcar based one each year at MB Motorsport just of the A38 at Wrangaton, similar deal, cafe opposite, but not 4wd.

Alan Jeffrey's dyno is about the most accurate I have found in this area, and is 4WD. I have done a few dyno days there and always had consistent figures. I would certainly be interested in another one if PH did a day there. smile

I've been AJ's before, was impressed how the day ran and he's always giving great advice on the cars which run.

Seems like a couple people could be interested, put your name and car below and I'll attempt to get a plan of some sort together.

sounds an interesting idea. Like Giles would need to be awd/4wd for me too.

Alan Jeffery also allows me (actually encourages me! biggrin) to run my nitrous as well.

Used AJ for the remap on my Audi, great service/guys would definitely be up for a group run on their rollers.

I'd be up for this with the GTR but obviously would need to be 4WD

Typically cost are between £20-£30 (going on previous events I've been to)

And as for venues, There are Engine-tuner and Ak in Plymouth which I've previously went to, well ran days loads of great advice.

As for dates, last weekend of Aug, start Sept, Not sure on dates as I am starting Uni again soon and no idea what other events people are going to, suggestions welcome.

List of drivers and cars wanting to attend.

This is interesting Giles. Much nearer than Bristol!

And if you have serious reservations about following the link above, just for you you can to:

http://www.evotuner.co.uk/

And achieve the same thing... biggrin

I am looking about for dates and people attending still as this hasn't gained much traction. :/

Ok, thought I'd follow up on this thread. Engine Tuner are happy to run a dyno day, £30 per car and thought I'd make a suggestion of Saturday 1st November. As you all know they can cater for both 2 and 4 wheel drives. If you are interested, thought we could perhaps pay an additional £5 and the winner on the day chooses a charity for the £5 per car overpayments to go to.

Let me know your thoughts, I would need to book the dyno realistically by mid September.
