I wish I'd bought it when it was still in the US. Including shipping it would have been about 14.5 if I remember correctly.

There was one for sale in Dublin asking €11k for nearly 2 years until late 2012, which had come in via Japan. I considered it, but bought my Alpina instead as the whole US-spec thing put me off

Sold £21,100

Strong money for a high mileage US spec car in need of work.

If anyone is on the look out for an E30 M3, I know of a nice UK car going for £24995. It's white, which seems to attract a slight premium, with black leather. There are no corrosion issues either. In fact, when you consider what this example just made, it's good value!

Nice rarely seen car.... the 120k on the clock shouldn't be too much of a problem with a FSH and the last owner for 15 years.. as long as the body and motor has been looked after although no mention of that....

Seems people are still happy to pay strong money. I had an email this morning, asking if I'd sell mine? It's not for sale though.

That was a VERY quick sale (if that's the reason for the missing ad) for anybody who missed it, it was a misano red cecotto edition for £35k! Nice and original too.

How many E30's do you reckon are out there and owned by people who dont have a clue what their cars are worth?

A few years ago when my daughter was born I had the chance to buy one for around £6000. It was a complete dog of a car and I didn't want to touch it with a barge pole.

I often wonder where that car ended up and how much it would be worth now.

30k maybe!!!eekGreat post bennyc, remember back in the early days you could indeed pick a nice low mileage example up for very sensible money, alot of ropey ones around though, use too see loads on trackdays back then where they really excel, shame they've now gone out of reach...
