Thanks all, I really do appreciate the valuable feedback and personal experience.

We have been talking about moving back to a house, perhaps we should wait til then, I don't know.

I do know that I really want that little fella and that you cant always have what you want, I will call over hopefully once or twice more to help us with our decision.

If we do give him a home, I will report back with plenty of pictures and finally be apart of this section of PH that i have read for sooo long! biggrin

haha Shaw Tarse, you'll have me adopting all sorts!

Little update, my Fiancees mum has agreed to let us look after the dog for a few day (up to 10) to see how we get on with him and more importantly, how he likes us and the living arrangements etc

Cant wait! Late this week, if not next week! Feels like agggeeessss away!

I couldn't imagine living without a dog now. I was having a really stty day yesterday and stuck the dogs in the car and we went to a remote beach to play for a few hours. Always a great way to clear my head and de-stress a bit if needed smile

I work 6 days a week (7 recently) and when I got home yesterday the first thing the wife said to me was "you're late", then went silent.
Took the dog out for a walk smile Excellent way of getting out of there when you CBA with their st banter.

People of PH, give the dog a name.

(it may make it more difficult for wolffe to hand him back)

Update time

I picked up both of them this morning as we are going to "foster" them for a few weeks.

So far so good, lovely little things they are too, they are actually named Toby and Loki

They have incredible noses, I opened a bag a chicken treat in the kitchen and broke off two small pieces to reward them after doing their business in the right area etc there heads and noses were straight up the moment I went onto the patio.

They were so responsive to the treats, hopefully should make training them fairly straight forward

What a fookin' gorgeous pair of mutts. They will be the main focus of the home within hours and ever giving them back will become unthinkable in a matter of days.

Enjoy your new family members. smilesmile

I was fostering them with a view to adopt, it didn't work out... whats wrong with that? I gave them a good home whilst they were waiting for their vaccinations, I house trained them, They sit and give paw on command

So what if I want a cat? I love most animals. A cat will suit my lifestyle better... There is a indoor cat that needs a home

Whats your problem exactly?

I think it's because just a few weeks ago your talk was all about how much you had wanted a dog, it seemed like you had thought long and hard about it etc.

There is no problem with you wanting a cat, of course not but it just seems to be a very sudden turn around.

It sounds like the pups have done well (though I can't believe they are completely toilet trained yet!) it's just ashame (esp for the nervous one) that they are being moved on again so soon, I really thought you were going to keep them!
