Good to know. We had 16 cars on the grid which is pretty good for just our second "taster" race towards the end of a very busy season for most people. There were some good battles through the field. The TVRs need some opposition at the front and I'm hopeful that we will get some G50s and the like out, but the Clio Cup cars had some great battles with the Ginetta G40s showing how competitive they can be in this series.

Roll on next year. The series will definitely run.

I would love to run a Monaro in this series next year... would 5.7l be too much?

No reason why not, as long is it complies with the regs.

They will be similar to this, I think, but we have a Committee meeting soon when things will be finalised, based on the experience of the two taster races this year. We will probably adjust the classes a bit.

I Will post about the regs as soon as I can.

We are still working on the regs, between our respective day jobs, so I'm not sure yet. I'll post about. It as soon as I can.

Hello,

Plenty of people registered already (28 so far) and some time away from the first race meeting. Their is a New Millennium Facebook group now, worth getting along there and start posting.

Regards, Dave

Id like to do it this year if I can make it. Im in a Ginetta G50 GT4, would be good if some of the others make an appearance to.

Another one tentatively registering his interest. 996 GT3 (non Cup) with FIA track mods and Cup aero.

Currently running it in after an engine rebuild so perhaps able to join one or two races towards the end of the season. Hope there will still be space!

Likewise, you would be very welcome. Whilst optimistic that the grids will be good in this first full year of the New Millennium Series I don't think we'll be a capacity anywhere through the year except perhaps at Spa. It usually takes a few years to build a series up smile

It would certainly be great to see a G50 and a 996 GT3 in the series. The G50, in particular, must represent great value and performance for this sort of series, with good spares support available.

We have entered our E36M3, usually in Modern CLassics, into New Millenium for Silverstone (not Snetterton) for the extra signatures so please avoid us!!

So how many are signed up for the New Millenium series and what are you driving?

I entered both the Donington and Snetterton rounds last year and am seriously considering coming along again in my Clio Cup...
