I don't see how it's primitive. The point is that the situation appears hopeless: there is no chance to get even. You may as well take some of the oppressors with you.
Foolish, and fools support that strategy.
I see the alternative as foolish -- get captured, probably tortured, shamed, likely killed anyway.

Hardly. It's the way most resistance forces have always fought. You'd be barking mad to expect ISIS or the IDF to follow the Geneva Convention, anyway.

Now, answer the question!

And once again I will state it for you because you seem to be terminally incapable of reading my answer!

Yes, equal rights for those that live within the law!!!!!

And I get accused of not answering questions! FFS!
So, your wonderful Israeli democracy guarantees equal treatment for those citizens who obey the law, but unequal treatment, depending on race, for those who break it? If so, surely it's a racist state?

This isn't a trick question -- I'm not talking about those religious Orthodox Jews who are exempted (by law) from military service, but ordinary Jewish Israelis, ordinary Arab Israelis.
Question and context.

You've advocated equal treatment for those who obey the law.

Are you going to advocate equal treatment for those Israeli citizens who break it, regardless of race?

What happens to the family members of the palestinian terrorists who kill Israelis whose homes are then demolished as a consequence by the IDF? Do they get rehoused or are they just left to sort themselves out.

I also wonder why the homes of Israeli terrorists who kill Palestinians are not demolished.

OK lets do this for the 4th and final time!

If you choose to be a terrorist, to ignore and refuse to accept the laws of the land, if you decide that, despite elections, you do not wish to have that government and it's laws and take up arms against it. Then you do not get equal rights. You do not want those laws so you lose the ability to cherry pick the ones that suit you.

By terrorist I don't mean, OBVIOUSLY, if you are caught speeding, shoplifting etc. I mean TERRORISM!

Clear? Please do not ask me this again as that is at least the 4th time. I am not going to change my response and I will not answer it again. It is pointless typing the same thing over and over again and there are only so many ways I can word it!

No idea but my best guess would be because Israel make the rules.

Why does a man from a council estate get 2 years for stealing from work when an MP only gets 6 months? Maybe the same reason. Not saying it is fair, rather a reality.

That sums it up. You change "rules" from within, not from outside.

I await a workable solution from the anti Israel brigade - 3 lines should be sufficient, don't get bogged down in detail. wink

Nice work sir.

However I suspect the reply will be along the lines of Israel must do this, Israel must do that, Israel must stop something else and Israel must say sorry. In other words the poor down trodden Arabs cant be wrong in any way shape or form. Oh look, 3 lines!

Probably, many of them are anti Israel, not pro Palestinians. Peace out there would remove their one punch bag.

So, you've gone full circle. We were discussing if what Israel is doing is fair (ie different punishments for different ethnic groups for the same crime.) After arguing about it for over 2 pages; your argument has boiled down to "Israel make the rules" - that's precisely the point we're contending with! Oh dear.

If we had the internet in 1986:

Poster A: I think it's deeply unfair as to how the blacks get treated in South Africa. They are segregated, they don't get the chance to get good jobs and they are punished more harshly for committing the same crimes.

Grum: Oh, stop whining. South Africa makes the rules so it must be ok. I don't know why the blacks and their supporters are complaining about.

rolleyes

Cease settlement building
Enter unconditional talks aimed at a viable two-state solution

Two lines was sufficient wink

Nail and head. In GrumWorld the "blacks" lost therefore they must unconditionally accept all restrictions placed on them by the democratically elected South African Govt.

Not anti-Israel (quite a lot of Israelis themselves abhor the policies of Netanyahu/Likud. Zionists tend to refer to them as "self hating Jews".) and certainly not pro all Palestinians. But feel free to create any fiction you like.

I've asked grum this a couple of times - maybe you could answer as he seems incapable; do you think the Usraelis under Netanyahu have ever seriously been interested in peace (a genuine peace trather than the unconditional surrender which Grum thinks would be a reasonable prerequisite to peace talks) ?

You think he's genuinely interested in peace when he has openly admitted that he will NEVER accept a viable Palestinian state?

Incredible.

You two really are like a couple of 2 year olds.

Still awaiting that link to your condemnation Countdown! Oh and Zubys link to my unanswered questions!

What a surprise that neither of you have managed to provide them! All piss and wind!
