Any of you lucky classic visitors caught up at the Tunnel today? Quoting 6 hours of delays at present due to lines being down in one of the tunnels.

Yep arrived at 13:00 and still here, no access to the terminal building. Did get a ration pack when we first arrived and they have just delivered more water to every car in the queue after passport control.

Almost as bad as at the circuit then! Left the circuit at 11.40am Saturday and got home exactly two hours later. And that was five miles! I feel sorry for those arriving since the ring road from the motorway was absolutely jammed solid and many couldn't possibly have reached the circuit in less than three hours after coming off the A28.

We got stuck in that as well, there appeared to be no reason for the delay once we arrived at the club parking entrance. Never encountered delays at the circuit in previous years, and ways take the same route.

We were stuck in the "holding area" for about 3 hours before managing to get a ferry ticket on the 7:50 ferry

Horrible journey home - arrived at Calais around 3PM, finally left at 00:05 - the communication was terrible, had I been told there would be a 9 hour wait in a carpark/terminal building i'd have taken an alternative route.

There were thousands waiting behind us.

The only silver lining I guess was the high density of awesome cars in the car park - but after 4 days of LMC that wasn't such a novelty.

Arrive around 2.30 to sit in the first on many queues. Got on train at 11.30 and then waited another hour.

Out of interest did anyone spot any French cars waiting to cross?

Oh well, it was first for being offered a Red Cross food parcel.

Arrived at the start of the Eurotunnel queue at 2.15pm and got a 8.48pm train (which ironically was late departing!) so judging by some of the horror stories we did okay! Seems bizarre that people arriving at roughly the same time didn't escape at roughly the same time!
At least the car park was an interesting place and we got to speak to plenty of owners that we wouldn't ordinarily have had the chance to chat to.
