VX220 to Evora

Hello,

I know some of you from Scottish Elises but i thought id post up and introduction and say hi!

I'm no stranger to lotus chassis magic as i had a vx220 for 9 years and 90k miles but that sadly went to its new owner in january. Combination of factors but basically i wasn't using it enough and my wife hated it. As such it became my selfish pleasure toy....which was an issue as i've got a bike as well!. The view was id replace it with something fun and everyday in the summer.

Some impressive man maths and a lot of spreadsheets later and i bought an na evora!

2010 aspen white +2 with sport, tech, xenons on a long box with standard pipes. So far the lovely people at Murrays have put in a pioneer head unit (avic f50bt as i knew id hate the alpine) and they fitted a powerfold mirror switch.

It's going to be my everyday car and i'm planning around 10k miles.

Early days but i love it. Think this might be a fun relationship......its basically like a grown up vxlise....even mrs donkey approves!

We even went to currys with it

Congratulations - 20 months and 15,000 miles into my ownership and still think it's a special car.

Elise 111R s/c to S IPS here. Its a quantum leap in terms of engineering depth and quality over our older cars. Plus Mrs 111R loves it too.

What rule says you have to limit the Toys you have! As long as you encourage the wife to have what she wants where's the issue?
