A friend of mine is machining up some tb's and intends to use trumpets from kinsler. They're mounted to the intake runner by 2 bolts appc 70mm apart iirc. Has anybody got a pair of kinslers installed and if so could they clarify the bolt spacing and bolt sizefor me. Thanks.

I have a 'classic' Kinsler manifold (2"7/16) on my SBC engine so of limited use for you) BUT i've had lots of dialogue with Kinsler and highly rate their customer service/tech support.

Have you considered calling them directly? If so try Earl Miller earl@kinsler.com

Mike as you cab see from the picture I believe that my Kinsler T.B.s attach in a different manner the 1/4 by 20 bolt on the side clamps down on the ring and secures the T.B.

Hi Lee,

The pic shows what I'm after. The cast alloy holder that secures the trumpet is bolted to the manifold by a stud and a hex bolt. It's the pcd of those two fixtures that I'm after. Could you measure that for me please?

Mike: I measure the c/l to c/l as 3.75 inches. I measured both inside to inside and outside to outside distances and added and subtracted one bolt hole diameter as indicated and the answer was 3.74 and 3.73 inches. So my assumption is that its actually 3.75
