Is there a bonnet high upgrade anyone would recommend. Mines seem to come loose in the gellcoat for the forth or fifth time and I want to do something a little more decisive than simply gell it all up again

I had a similar problem, Warren at Topcats designed a solution five years ago and applied it to my car to ensure the bonnets clamps effectively now. Might need to go this ad-hoc approach.

sorry bonnet hinge not clamp at teh top.

I was thinking instead of the two useless hinges at the front that take the weight of the bonnet into fibreglass, perhaps a bent rod going the length of the front bonnet into clamps??

I've got some uprated hinges, think they were from SH, billet items they are that allow a bit more adjustment.

However they still bolt to the bonnet in much the same way as the original items so doubt they'll solve this particular problem!
