the dredge seema a very todd idea but i suppose tony has enough experience and money to back it till it makes money while todd would run out of money very quickly!
cannot figure out if tony is jealous of parker or tring to make him a better miner, love parker's grandad though-the original duracell bunny lol

I seem to recall Tony is friends with Parker's Granddad so I suspect he's 'doing it for his own good'.

You have to remember that if the relationship was not very good, why did Tony help out parker for a few days at the end of last season for no reward (other than the standard cut).

Ah yeah sorry I meant more from a mentor/parental aspect. Although they will bump heads I think long term Parker will realise what a help Tony has been to him. Parker seems to have grown this season

Cant wait to see last nights episode when I get home tonight...

I've been thinking we should setup a PistonHeads gold mining operation.

No previous experience needed.
Some investors needed (we could possibly fund this between us)

All we have to do is watch the first 4 seasons again as a memory refresher. Do exact opposite to Todd and his crew and we should be onto a winner..

Get the Viking as a mentor (possibly)

Anyone in?

Frankly, and I admit I'm a total sucker for US 'reality' nonsense, my current mantra is WWRRRD or WWTHD.

What would Richard Ray Rawlings do and if in doubt - What wouldn't Todd Hoffman do.

I'm in - I have zero mining experience, so should fit the bill.

We're far too early organising it all though. The season starts in what April? So, shall we reconvene on 31 March?

Just spotted Parker going into town in a nice red Raptor pick-up. Doing alright for the start of the season.

ETA - although I bet they are a fraction of the price we see them for over here.

He pulled over $1 million of gold out of the ground last season and lives with his parents. Not surprised he's treated himself.

Rick, the tatooed member of his team spent over $8,000 on a gold ring that says "Suck It!".

That was a bit of a surprise last night...1/2 million $ to buy into a partnership stake with Todd.

Yeah but this is Todd 'I don't have a fking clue what Im doing' Hoffman.

He manages to fk it all up and somehow finds enough to scrap by, I bet the only money he ever makes is on the pay per episode.
