An even more irritating variant would be something like "...yeah I'm rocking a new coat.."

'Rocking' a new coat? 'ROCKING' a new coat??!!!!
You got that wrong, the cool Phrase is "pimpin`" like in "pimpin` my aviators", I learned that in here.

One of my son's friends used that term the other day.

He's ten years old.

He was referring to an event that took place in November last year.

shout...Sod off, you moron, I don't even know you.
Much as I hate those, the absolute worst has to be "boss". Generally by a guy in a shiny suit trying to sell you a phone upgrade.

'Price point'. A good example is here: http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

It's just 'price'. So annoying and makes me think that people who say it are bellendious morons.

"fk off"

Wife has a two-faced condescending bh of a friend who works in HR, speaks in fluent HR-isms, generally thinks she's God's Gift to Business.

I go out of my way on introducing her to new people to say "works is Personnel" smile

Small victories.

'Human Resources' is such an unpleasant term, it's like they're referring to stockpiles of office supplies rather than people. 'Personnel' is a far nicer description in my opinion.

How about "People Support" ( http://www.timpson.co.uk/about/30/working-for-timp... ) ?
