Heads up, centre of Sunningdale seems to be closed by Police outside Waitrose.

Anyone know what's going on?

Car rolled at pedestrian crossing! Avoid for a few hours at least, was quite a mess.

The big one in September, 2000. That was truly horrific. Woke everyone up within about a half-mile radius.

Fortunately, in todays one, no-one was hurt. A well known local 17-year old lad in a brand new Merc, who had just passed his test clipped the kerb and flipped it. Fortunately no-one was crossing the pelican crossing at the time.

I dread to think what his insurance will be. But then he has more money than sense.

Alledgedly.

Its an accident hotspot and people refusing to allow filtering of the traffic makes it even more dangerous! it should be revised i think as it can become pretty congested very quickly!

Wow - how on earth does anyone (with any modicum of common sense) manage to do that, on that stretch of road, in a 30 limit?

No doubt a replacement car has already been ordered banghead

Any reason why nobody will name him? I am sure it will be in the local rag with his name in it.....

...and a head on at Broomhall bends about 30 mins ago, so Spurs Coupe, that's your route so I'd avoid it this afternoon.

Thanks for the heads up mate, I passed it about the time you posted! Luckily for me no real queue.

Looks nasty, I hope everyone was OK, full head on smash.

As in locally.

Although it must be said that that spot is not an accident hotspot. However, 100 yards down the road, with the junction with Broomhall Lane, just by Majestics. That IS a well-known spot. So much so that the council have permission to put lights there. There's also talk of re-doing that junction. The issue is volume of traffic after the barriers have just gone up.

As for the head-on by the farm on Broomhall Lane; I can't say I'm suprised, it was only a matter of time. I hope/pray all are OK.

Not tried it, not know anyone who has. It's 2nd-last iteration as an Italian was great; but all changed when the owners changed over sadly.

Would be interested in your thoughts, if you go smile
