I went to Rescue Day last year (click for the PH thread) (it was a boys day for Harry and I) and loved it. This year, there's a simulated train crash and rescue and it looks even more awesome than last year.

I'm planning on going again this year, although my partner (and daughter) have decided to gatecrash our day out - Can't have everything hehe

I'll post photos up after the day and if you go, say hi if you see me!

Words cannot describe how hot it was today - Well, they can, it was hot. Damned hot. We didn't make it to the other side as the kids were fed up and unhappy. Here's just a few photos:

Looks good, my son would have loved it. I'll stick it in my diary for next year.

I'll be honest, last year was better as when the train rescue was showed, you couldn't really see it as well due to weight of numbers - but this year and last year were red hot and incredibly uncomfortable as a result.

But for seeing a load of rescue vehicles close up, it was brilliant!

Looks like it was a good day. I forgot all about it. Only remembered when the Sea King came over! Not good considering I live in Ealand! Must go next year.
