Anyone looking to sell their '46 M3 soon?
Discussion
Afternoon all,
Apologies if this is against the rules but I'm struggling to find a good E46 M3, and I'd prefer to buy from a PHer.
I'm after either Steel Grey or Estoril blue, preferably with Cinnamon interior but I know that's rare.
Not too bothered about options but HK and heated seats would be nice. Also prefer it to be on the 18s but they can easily be changed.
So anyone, or does anyone know of any going?
Thanks
Dan

Go to post number 6 down the page. Don't know anything about it other than it's a pistonheader selling an e46 m3 so all good so far…...

I think that post was mine. Unless I can't count..lol I've had some interest since and have someone coming to see it tomorrow and sunday. However, it all depends what they offer me as I'm not selling it for silly money. For some reason, despite the fact its been well looked after , low mileage and in good condition, people don't seem to be interested as its silver....

Put that it is a face lift car in the advert (I am guessing it is a 2003 on a 53 due to the face lift rear end). Otherwise I think it is a nice looking car so should sell to someone who wants a low mileage car.
Good idea, mate. DoneI'm just amazed that no one seems to want a well sorted low mileage, albeit sliver, car. Strange
Cheers

Probably because:- There's loads of M3's around the £10k mark and since AT sorts by price by default, you're not getting a lot of views at £12k
- The colour as you mentioned
- First picture isn't very good and that's the one that appears most prominent in the listings.

Aye, my photography skills aren't the best! lol. I'll need to go for a drive tomorrow and get some decent pictures somewhere with it- There's loads of M3's around the £10k mark and since AT sorts by price by default, you're not getting a lot of views at £12k

Hopefully the photos and price are a bit better now! I imagine so as I've finally started to get some good interest!

If I was in the market for one, I'd be put off by the aftermarket tips and nav. I think at the price you're hoping to sell at, most people are after something completely OEM.http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/2014...

Those tips wouldn't put me off and as for the nav... do people seriously use the maps from 2003??
Evidently so The last owner said people were put off as the car didn't have the sat nav system (with the old analogue tv) so I bought an upgraded android system with everything up to date on and it still puts people off! You can't win with buyers.
I mean, come on, it's got angry birds on it FFS!!

1. Who uses the radio in an E46 M3? The engine sounds great!2. Who uses a map in an E46 M3? Ignoring this means you always get to take the longer route!
With regards to the silver M3 can you not just take the tips off? It might help the sale at that price point.
