Yes the other side is a pain. You can undo the throttle body from the back of the supercharger in situ. Although one of the hex head bolts is hard to get at you don't have to undo all 4, you can swing it out of the way after removing three.
Cheers mate
Thought there had to be a trick...
So it's a dry joint then?

Hi Adam, they look lovely, I'm sure many would like a set of those lick! Out of interest, can you confirm what thread the filler neck / flame trap etc are as I can't quite see it on the tap in the photo. I've just had my rocker covers back from powder coating and the filler neck thread has been damaged by being half wound into threads full of blast media so I'm in need of getting a suitable die to sort it out and get it to fit again. Cheers, Andy

Hope this helps.....
Good luck finding one you might be better off finding an engineering firm who can do it.

Thats the one!!!

I have had interest in casting sets but I think it works out too expensive (if they are finished ready to fit), although less than a good original set going by what they have previously gone for on ebay.....the reason I did this apart from the challenge was because I wanted a set and couldn't afford it.
Materials, casting costs and postage I can do nothing about but the work involved in machining painting and polishing up the alloy bits to be honest would be better done by the enthusiast.....:-)
I'm happy (free of charge) to drill the large holes, tap them and the fixing holes as I have the jig.
I'd like to see them on cars, seems a shame not to make the most of this as they are now so rare.
Cheers
Adam

I see you took the plenum cover of to get at the rocker. While you have the throttle linkage out, have a go at the cage with a file. I found that the end stop on mine meant that the throttle couldn't quite reach the full 90 degrees. Rule number one for engine tuning....

Im really interested in a pair, and have been discussing with Adam my interest. My only issue is justifying the cost of manufacture / shipping.
I know Adam has put a lot of effort into these, and the finished articles are very good quality/ finished to a high standard, if only he was in the UK, or there is sufficient interest to justify a large shipment to reduce the costs, maybe supply them unfinished.

Here is a set on ebay, item no 161366702125
They've been well and truly butchered but are probably repairable at a cost.
Worth watching.......
Adam

Ps. As far as sending them Cheaper surface mail would be the go for a few sets.
Anyone know somebody in shipping?

Hi all,
Every where I look for a cheaper postage option ends up more expensive than Auspost :-(
$70 or £40 is the cheapest I can find single package 8-12 weeks.
Or a parcel 60cm x 50cm x50cm is about $300 but I'd probably get maybe 5 or more pairs in there
And thats 2-3 days.

I fitted the other rocker cover on last night bit of a pain on the sx but all good now.
Cheers
Adam
