Anyone Lend to Crowd Sourcers?

What with the paucity of decent returns on cash deposits in the usual places, I've been tempted by the sensible returns offered by crowd source firms.

First reaction = Ponzi, but I wondered whether it could actually be worth considering.

Any thoughts? Anyone tried it?
