V50 2.4 Geartronic - Advice on buying wanted

Hi All

I'm currently looking for an automatic estate car and the V50 is one I was wondering about. I was leaning towards petrol as most of my journeys will be short and I'd be worried about the DPF if one is fitted to the V50 diesel engine?

There is a nice V50 currently on ebay and Autotrader which I was thinking about but haven't committed to going to see it yet. The service history all stacks up nicely though.

Any advice about these cars would be very appreciated as I am quite tempted although a Mondeo Estate is also high up the list too.
