That GTS looks like it's hewn out of granite. I'd love that. Would prefer without rear spoiler but even so. Just sensational.

Yes but weren't they still depreciating then?

The shoe shine buy suggested I buy into any sports car - new or old, better investment than pork bellies

No - bought it 2 years earlier with 21k on the clock for 17k. It was a mint 95 GTS. That was about bottom of the market (2006) when a good S4 was 6 - 8k. I sold mine for 18k with 45000 on the clock in 2008 and prices have been creeping up ever since - for good ones that is.

They (SCoM) actually have one 2.7RS at around the £750k mark but they also have another for which they are asking the princely sum of.....wait for it....£1.1 million!!
I saw this on their flyer at the weekend on the Yorky Porky fest - was going to post about it on ere but you beat me to it smile

On that note, there was an awesome maroon and even more awesome peppermint 964 at the festival, had to park my car at the back for fear of ridicule

At the time I bought my 2007 GT3 I really could not justify a stretch to a gen 2 which were around £75k or a 997.2 RS (which were around £90k) Now the RS's are going for around £120-£140k, thats almost the price of another 997.1 GT3.

Seems like anything with an RS badge is shooting to the moon!

I think I will have to stick with my current car forever.....unless I win the lottery then I am off to Singer for a bespoke build biggrin

GOD, I would love a Singer 911 cry

Seems like best of both worlds IMO. Classic styling with modern tech.

I was parked by the peppermint car - it sounded great on the way out too
