Very poor weekend for me, I used my wildcard and decided to swap Costa for Rooney and make him my captain that was a woeful call, there was only Kane in my team that gave me any meaningful points.

Arsenal players and Kane were the ones to have this weekend.

Time to shift Chambers on though, doesn't look likes he's getting game time any time soon.

Bellerin is the new Chambers. I'm going to give him a go, but he could be dropped / rotated at any moment.

Kane as captain helped

Managed to move Costa out now and bring in Sturridge

Because spurs and chelsea played the league cup final this weekend. I got some really crap points this weekend as my team as a few players from both clubs. Can someone explain when I can claw back my "lost" points. I am not fully understanding how it works in this situation.

Thanks

They didn't play so you don't get their points. I've got more than 3 from QPR, Leiscester Spurs Chelski you're going to loose out.

Spurs play twice next week and Chelski have a double gameweek further down the line so they both "catch-up"

In other news, time to transfer out Adam Johnson.....

Dam, that sounds unfair. So people that didnt have players from those 4 teams have fared better than others. But they can take advantage even more by buying players that didnt play this weekend as they have two games to play in.

You need to learn the rules hehe
If the person doesn't play that weekend you get no points for them. Whoever is on your bench will replace them.

Looking at the fixtures helps.

No.

It means people playing properly and playing ahead score to the maximum.

I'd imagine Kane is going to be the runaway choice for captain next week

I'm in the opposite position to you, I've only got 1 Chelsea player and no spurs, QPR or Leicester. So I scored well last weekend, but now to take advantage of the double matches I need to use transfers and possibly take some -4's. So it all balances out in the end.

Some tough decisions to make though, spurs will be playing their 3rd and 4th games in 10 days so there could be some tired players and rotation. Also doesn't help that the likes of City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal have all got good fixtures so who do you transfer out? Anyway, off to make some decisions.... Erikson...? Kane....? Austin....? mmmmmm

Just been on it a few minutes ago and it was fine for me...only got 21 points over the weekend so sometimes I do wonder why I bother going on it!

Bringing in Giroud this week and captaining him turned out to be a good decision cool bit annoying to have Boyd on the bench, although I can't imagine anyone foreseeing that he would outscore Aguero, Sanchez, Hazard, Kane et al

I don't think anyone got decent points, most of the high flying teams have broadly similar players and none of the scored well this week. Giroud was about the only one.

44 points last week in what was a pretty low scoring week. Henderson and Costa along with a couple of clean sheets.

I must be going mad, I'm getting borderline tempted to put Fellani in my team!
