Hi All
New here, but love cars classic and modern

I have an assessment day coming up at Bentley at Crewe , Cheshire. I have passed the fists stage doing the written, mechanical and spatial awareness papers.

I have been invited back for the next stage. This involves team exercises, tasks in the workshop etc. They have asked I wear safety boots etc and be prepared for it to be a demanding ( physically) few hours.

has anybody been to this part of the assessment. Any indications what I can expect would be welcome
I have applied for the advanced apprenticeship Manufacturing.

It would be appreciated if anybody can help

Kind regards

Before anyone else...

...They really want you to fight for the job.

Very little experience of this sort of thing myself but they probably want to see you pulling your weight and adding to group exercises without going all out and ignoring everyone or just sitting at the side and blending in.

You must be doing something right to get to the second round so keep that up and best of luck.

I've done an assessment there for the grad programme, so the group exercise may be similar.

We had to make a production line building plugs with different ratings of fuse and stuff.

It was quite easy and we finished it in about half the time with 100% accuracy. We thought we had missed something it seemed so simple.

The other team had loads of arguments, didn't read the brief and messed it up.

My mate went for an assessment a few days later and they had a different group exercise.

They're also VERY keen on "tell me about a time when you've..." questions.
