They don't link to it publicly. It's labs.strava.com and you enter the url (or number) for your activity. Then you can tick who you'd like to add to the flyby.

Absolutely fantastic day guys ! Really enjoyed it despite the *issues* on route. smile

Special thanks to Nathan for stopping on puncture number 1 and helping out (I owe you a tube sir) and even more thanks to him for managing to find the most microscopic of stones protruding the tyre causing all the punctures !! clapbow

JT, as always mate, was a pleasure and thanks for helping with the other punctures too ! smile

Next time can we have less hills please ! hehe
Was a pleasure riding with John and Jason, and meeting everyone else (sorry, I'm terrible with names!)

I wouldn't have attempted this sort of distance on my own so am well chuffed to have made it (and set a new top speed of 40.6mph even though I'm sure John will have beaten it by some margin wink ).

If any sort of rides are organised in the future please give me a shout smile

Nathan (Blue Planet-x)

:edit: John - this is the rear light I'm using however I didn't buy it from here: http://www.dartmoorcycles.co.uk/shop/electron-r100...

I'm thinking this Circuit Breaker would be a great annual tradition for a PH team ride, given it's a fairly central location and at Silverstone. Especially if it coincides with the Birkett Six Hour Relay again.

Sounds good!

I'll just have to watch the date as my daughters birthday is the 23rd!

Evening all, rarely post on PH but did this ride yesterday and saw a few of you in your PH tops. Are you all from around Silverstone or do you arrange meets?

I've got into my road biking this year after thinking that it was the dark side of cycling!

I think there have been attempts in the past but this might be the first large scale meet we've managed. We may lose some momentum during the winter season but hopefully this is something we'll pick up again with more frequency in the new year.

Any MTB get togethers over the winter? Seemed to have noticed a coming together of petrolheads and cyclists recently. Most events seem to have a gaggle of nice cars.

Sorry to resurrect a thread - I've been away. I'm sure you're all gutted.

Was a great ride. I only met up with MikeES on the road due to the congestion getting into Silverstone. One thing that struck me was the number of casualties along the way. Don't think I've ever seen as many folk repairing punctures. The first one was just a few hundred metres out of the circuit. And it's the only sportive where I've ever seen folk getting off and walking. Was there actually a hill, like, anywhere...? A bit of a rise here and there, but blimey, it's blinkin' Northants not the Alps...

My brother and I retired to a pub in Silverstone village after finishing and watched the dregs come in. Bloody hell, we cyclists look like a load of twazzocks when veiwed from a pub bench.

Just sayin'

I think the Circuit Breaker will be an annual thing as its fairly central to most people and drags the SE contingent away from Surrey for the day wink

I hope it does. I couldn't make this one due to other stuff, but an annual get together of silly smiley jerseys sounds like a great idea. biggrin

Only if there is good weather though

Gran Fondo Conwy....

This will sort the men from the boys, the height gain is wrong on the route profile, 9,5k ft climbing over 104 miles.

Is it really?

I honestly thought it was the day before our IMAX evening.
