Anyone for a meet up on Sunday with some nice cars?

Hey, I'm back in Leicester for the weekend and one of the things I like to do is take advantage of leaving the London traffic behind!

I was wondering whether anyone fancies a meet up - I will be in my SL55 or 997 turbo, and more than likely will have either my cousin driving my other car, and a couple of friends in an M5 and 458 italia...

Anyone with any interesting metal fancy coming along? We're in the Syston area if that helps.

That's why I prefer to drive it in the dry!

What's the plan if the meet goes ahead?

The gate hangs well pub near syston has a good car park for meets and have been known to hold a few meets

Sounds good to me - what are you classing as lunch time?
Will only turn up if the weathers good.

Well me and my cousin are planning to go there for 12.30 in My SL55 and 997 turbo with a friend in an M5 and I was hoping the others would turn up since they said provided it's ok weather, which it is!

It's only down the road from me anyway, but you're welcome to pop along anyway!

Was looking forward to seeing the SLS and a few TVR's too :-(

Dude, would've loved to turn up to this as it's not too far for me but my car's got a cooling issue and although I love my car, don't think it would be quick enough in the company of cars you mentioned

It's actually a nice warm day, already saw a canary yellow Ferrari California and a Porsche cabrio when I was walking around this morning in Leicester.

Nevertheless, I hope it was a top drive mate!

Just logged on for the first time in a few weeks, looks like I just missed out!

If anyone is up for anything 4pm onwards today after the F1 let me know, just had supersports fitted on the back and want to try out my new shoes!!

Nobody from PH came but we had a nice blast out

Discovered, much to my surprise, that the (tuned) SL55 is still slower than the standard 997 turbo though!
