On sky news news.
Don't think you will have to look to far.
Its alleged that they shot a Ukraine ground attack plane yesterday-which was within Ukraine territory

I do hope its not been deliberate as the Russians have already shot down a jet this week. As it may be the last straw

but hopefully some people have survied

A Malaysian passenger plane had departed from Schiphol Airport, crashed on Ukrainian territory.
Amsterdam departed Boeing 777 crashes in Ukraine

The unit arrived, according to the Russian news agency Interfax , not far from the eastern Ukrainian city of Donetsk, fifty kilometers from the border with Russia, down.
Interfax states that it is a Boeing 777 with 280 passengers on Malaysia Airlines and fifteen crew members on board. The plane would have taken off from Amsterdam on the way to the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur.
A spokesman for Malaysia Airlines has confirmed that an "incident" took place on board one of the flights of the society.

was apparently flying from Ams - KUL, so I would be very surprised if survivors, unless he had diverted of course.

Down in the area of conflict as well making recovery / emergency services extremely dangerous.

Now one news agency is stating it was shot down at 30,000ft frown
