After having a long battle (still not yet decided) as to whether to go xbox one or PS4, I have decided I need to know if I have missed the chance with this game?

Obviously I will be starting as a complete rookie and be up against seasoned pro with loats of tricked up cars. So my question really is, is it worth me buying it now or wait for Forza 6.

I race single player or rivals. Rarely play multiplayer

You'll be fine. Upgraded car means nothing as you just race in whichever class you like. Rob and I race A or B class

There are so many destruction derby racing drivers you'll be laughing if you can make it past the first corner.

If you have a good race, it's great fun but ATM I'm having possibly 1/3 where I don't get smashed off.

Think i may have to get one on the way and play catch up. Do they still have gifty cars as you go through the levels? I may be able to auction them off as I did on FM4...

It will obviously take you time to learn the quickest lines on each track but once you've mastered that it's no biggie as most top tunes can be downloaded and applied to the cars so you don't have to waste hours tuning it yourself (unless you're into that!)

Not at all, chances are you'll know the tracks. So you just need to learn the new driving physics.

If you purchase car packs and VIP you'll have more money than you'll ever need. If you don't you'll just have to put in a couple hours on career.

Once you get a decent spec car in a class you like you can just race over and over and you'll earn plenty money

You're a good man wink

I'm looking at it the VIP edition. Can you still buy a season pass/car pass and get a load of dlc packs? Is that still about £50?

If you've played a fair bit of the past games I suspect you'll get a massive chunk of credits if you sign up to rewards.forzamotorsport.net

That will give you a few million so you could buy competitive cars for just about every class.

OOoh, how does this work? I've played and "completed" every one so far...

Just sign in with your xbox live associated email account and there should be a 'redeem rewards' button somewhere. Definitely helped to acquire some of the more high priced vehicles, although I managed to 'forget' I purchased the McLAren M23 and ended up buying it twice which was quite a waste of a 1m+ credits.

Personally I think I'd buy preowned game then just add whatever car packs and individual cars you want. Its a fun game but not worth spending a fortune on smile

Oh, I don't have Xbox live.
