Corrosion on A4 Avant tailgate

Well my 2005 A4 Avant has rust starting to come through around the bottom of the high level brake light, will the rear screen need to come out to fix properly?
Car is going in to Audi to get sorted with a 70% contribution, I know some have got 100% but I really can't be bothered to argue about it.
