Please give a dimension/scale reference.

I don't think it's 26. The o-ring should have its own number.

Best,
B.

Heh all. Thanks for the replies.....
Apologies for the lack of dimensional reference. As i'm writing this i don't have it with me but from memory it is about 5mm axial length and approximately 1-2mm in diameter. It has what appears to be a jet hole through it, the diameter of which is not measurable by myself and there are no apparent part markings alas....
I did find something earlier. I thought that it might have been this part shown in Step 72 of this excellent strip and rebuild how to...... http://www.mk3supra.org/topic/561-guide-rebuilding... but my carb is a version 3a which is pre-auto choke........

...sorry i meant to add....
Many thanks for the pic link whitewolf. The company that I bought the service pack from included an exploded view drawing as seen in your link. These drawings are for the later v7a version. I have managed to find an equivalent v5a exploded view with the manual choke (as per the 3a i have) but i'm still none the wiser alas..... http://www.classicinlines.com/Weber3236.asp
I appreciate that it's a different carb.....

Hi everyone
...just to close this thread off.
After a number of weeks scratching my head and pestering people left right and centre, i found out yesterday that the part in question may well actually be from a different carburettor altogether...
The chap who ultra sonically cleaned the carb and parts said that it was probably a spare bit left over from a previous clean in the bottom of his tank!! We laughed.....
