cobra a6422 alarm problems s1 1999 elise

hi all
can someone please help ?
i bought a s1 with 1 key 1 fob and NO touch pen (stupid man)
bought blank key had it cut (works fine)
bought a fob (seems ok)
now told need a jolly programmer to program a new touch pen local cobra dealer quoted £140 starting price to remove alarm module and reprogram a touch pen
can i remove alarm module myself ( any help gladly received )
has anyone gone through this before?
how much are jolly programmers ?????
