It would seem the factory could accommodate what ever headlight layout you wanted with either being fitted right up to the end of Cerb production, and of course there are many conversions available. When you need to replace your reflectors of the single lamp at £120 each plus labour the cost of having a new front end, complete with re-spray (taking care of all those universal stone chips) at about £1200 suddenly this sound a little easier. What do the members think? 2 or 4?

I was looking at these at the Ace last week. All the ones there that had the 4 lamps none where the same in spacing either side. If you look at the gap between the lamps and the little side light there is good half inch difference between them . That aside I think the colour of the car makes a difference and also they need to be fully smoothed in full effect. I was up for the conversion but I've seen a picture if a yellow with the four lamps and I don't like it.

Check out the picture at Central (http://www.centraltvr.com/product/cerbera-twin-headlamp-conversion/). You see a Grey car with the small side lights and a blue one without? Guess they can put sidelights in one of the mains??? I have seen the light kits advertised on e-bay, so someone has a mold, but you need a good body shop who know how to work fiberglass and do top paint work. Centrals price seems reasonable, I have seem double that quoted and some around the £800, but would not trust the cheap guys.

When I first started looking at Cerbs I was all for the 4 headlights conversion look, but it didnt stop me looking at the 2 headlight type.
Having got mine (2) I now prefer the 2 look as I feel it adds to the "British Muscle Car" look. Read MGB on steroids!

I think the 4 look is a little "Continental"?

Just my two penneth!

I quite like the look of the later style, but I prefer the originals. If I ended up with a damaged car at some point I may do the change as part of the rebuild, but my existing car will remain as-is.

Mine has the 4 units with built in side lights, i have seen others with 6 (seperate sidelights) & 8 ( seperate sidelight and seperate indicator).

I going to guess that the people with Standard lights prefer standard and the people with the newer quad design prefer these laugh

My blue Cerbera has and will remain with the Single Headlamp to keep originality.

This car will have quite a few changes when the rebuild gets underway including a colour change to Gun Metal Grey and will get the Twin Light conversion.

I thought the factory ones replaced the original style lamp in a pod (note the line)

How about the faired in look?

The very last cars had them fully blended in. My 2002 has them fully blended but I had a look at Kerridges Black 2000 4.5 today and that had the pods unblended

Thanks, didn't know that.

Long time no see - lovely looking example.
