Only got one dongle diarming the immobiliser.

My other fob and dongle make the light stay on, go out and then go back to flashing (armed).

Just want to try and pair them again........ Don't know how!!!

From my own notes from back when I did this procedure - hope it helps.

1) You must have a working fob.

2) With the working fob, activate/deactivate the alarm 8 times (i.e. 8 x on, and 8 x off) the alarm will not take any more actions beyond this anyway. All other fob details will be deleted at this point (apart from the one used for the 16 actions).

3) Within 8 seconds, activate the new fob, the system will respond with a change of state (it may require a couple of attempts), the details of the new fob are then added to the data held by the system unit.

4) Any other fobs you wish to use must also be activated at this time (apart from the one used in point 2).

5) Leave the system quiet for 8 secs plus.

6) Your new fob(s) and the original one will now be synchronised with the system.

You mean the touch key (immobiliser stick)?

Once a tough key has been programmed (paired) you cannot re-program it.

I bought a replacement fob and touch key from Abacus Alarms Good service and price (instructions for fob and key provided)

Programing a replacement RK38S touch key (Abacus Alarms’ instructions)

• Disarm the immobilizer using an original working decode key
• The LED on the decode itself will go out
• Within 10 seconds turn the vehicle’s ignition On then Off
• Within the next 10 seconds insert the new touchkey
• The LED on the decode head will light
• If the coding has been accepted, the LED in the decode head will remain on for 14 seconds
If the LED in the decode head continues to flash immediately after the new key has been inserted, then the new key has not been accepted.
The usual reason for this is that either the replacement key has already been coded into another M33/M36 or that the M33/M36 has had all its vacant slots filled (it will accept a total of 5 keys only)

hi chim666, yes that's the one! Thanks for the instructions, just one question did you mean rk36s (instead of rk38s)?

Don't mean to be pedantic but you never know....

Should this be shared on a public forum????

No reason not to share it. All the instructions posted require that you are already in possession of a working fob, so the instructions are of no use to someone trying to nick your car. If a thief already has a working fob, then they've already succeeded!

What should not be shared are the various secret ways of getting into the car without using a key or fob.

Edited to add: The fob pairing instructions given above are on the Abacus web site, so already in the public domain. But unless you've got a working fob, they're of no value.
