Windscreen wipers knocking.

OK, I have an S80, when the wipers are on, the drivers side blade makes a loud noise as it finishes the movement to the right, and starts the return to the parked position.

The sounds seems to be as the blade starts the return to the parked position.

Any ideas what it is?

How new are the blades?

Has the spindle or carrier been bent out of shape?

Also, something nobody ever does, lubricate all the pivot points and the spring - they get noisy when they're dry

Strange thing is sometimes it doesn't known, defiantly coming from the point of contact with the end of blade and side of screen, will try new blades first, probably a few years ago.
