We plan on getting down to the PH car park at 8.45am and were looking at having breakfast on the way down somewhere. Can anybody recommend a good breakfast stop that will be open on the Sunday morning.

This is our probable route, happy to deviate by 10 mins for a good fry up.

There's some decent catering available at the event, so that's what we'll be doing. It's not a bad use of time to get brekkie there, as there's usually not too much going on for the first hour or so.

There was a very nice cafe in Wilton village that Nathan persuaded to open for us specially a couple of years ago, maybe that'll be open anyway, now the whole event is so much bigger ?

Peppers cafe on silver street. Good breakfast.

I Remeber that run down to Wilton last year. I followed Paul Brackley in his 997 Turbo. So many people we ended up in 2 groups. Was a good day.

Paul.

Am thinking brekkie at Wilton might be the easiest.

Could not find anywhere myself that was open at 7.30-8.00 enroute.

Hi,

I normally organise a run down to Wilton from the Reading Area and always finish for breakfast at Coffee Darling, 2 Silver Street, Wilton. Its run by Sue and is always very pleased to accommodate everyone. https://www.facebook.com/coffeedarling
There is parking in main market square right opposite the Cafe, just get down there by about 8am.

Oops yes Nathan is right - It is now coffee darling (used to be peppers but got taken over a couple of years ago). The street view photo is old and still shows it as the old name!

Looking forward to the show again this year. Always a great event - expecting it to be super busy this year.

Paul.

Hi, What's the plan for the run from Reading?

Usually a slow and sedate drive on long safe motorways at less that 50mph with regular stops for toilet breaks and cups of tea. hehe

Looks like we have to pay now? £18! Unless on the PH list although how they check 650 cars is beyond me (they usually don't bother).

They email out a "pass" for everyone on the list to display in your window, that gets you into the PH carpark. I've been the last 3 years and there was always an entrance fee.... It was a fair bit cheaper up until July 19th.

Ross you can get a lift in with me if you want, just me and Jane in the car so if you want you can leave your car outside Coffee Darling in the square after Brekky.

Hang about, pay to get in? Yeah i thought that was always the case....i thought you meant for parking, I have been the last two years and it was about £12-15, it was £15 before as above, but now £18. Must remember to buy them before so i can get in and up to the Rally Stage for 10am.
