Jaguar remote fault ?

I've just collected my 2003 XKR from the body shop and now the remote will only operate when I'm stood close to the car.I have fitted a new batt to remote but no change. It had been stood for 5 weeks because of various issues. I did take it for a 15 mile run on Sat but still the same. Any ideas please. PS they did have to remove the rear bumper.

Think the aerial is in the back screen area and the connection to the security module can get disturbed. Try these first.

Hi P700Dee. Thanks for your help. Yes your correct about aerial in the back screen. If I hang the remote over that area it will work every time. Where is the security module? Do you think re-programming the remotes could resolve the problem
