The 1st time I did it was when I was 17 and it was with my mate because he'd done it before so he said he'd show me how to change the oil and filters on my car and I could borrow his tools.

I was 17, it was late at night/early morning in a mist engulfed industrial estate just outside Glasgow. We found the quietest corner and I just went for it as fast as I could, it couldn't have went better, I ripped the handbrake of my mums fiesta at the perfect moment then dropped a gear and wheelspun out of it into the dark night ahead like a true drift king.

Blimey you were a late starter. I first did it with my uncle when I was about 8. No oil change, wheel bearing on an Austin 1100.

Only because that was on my own actual car and included glow plugs and stuff. I spent childhood watching my father swear at his cars.

Last year at 26 years old. Climbed to the top of a mountain with some friends in the snow. Then our poles extended to full length and we skied back down. Had lots of practice since then, but always do it with other people as it's a big dangerous and less fun on your own.

Lucky you, before my missus got her Fiesta ST I couldn't keep the keys for my RS Clio (second car) away from her, she was doing more miles in the thing than I was for my first six months of ownership!

Clipping the harness around my baby son was initially difficult. Now I'm looking forward to the day it can be removed.

Cheers

About 5? I dunno, whatever age it is where you discover that if you shove your hand down the back seat you sometimes find coins amongst the fag ash and crumbs?
