The C63 looks like its on its way to a new home. Any good deals out there for the M5 currently?

That didn't take long Eddie, welcome back Sir!

There are some great deals to be had on the F10.

Eastern BMW are excellent to deal with.

Competition pack cars are rather nice, worth that wee bit extra methinks.

The F10 is just awesome, brilliant everyday, monster when you want....economical too!

Welcome back Eddie!! Hope you are well.
Don't rule out an M3..I think you know my car history and I promise they (much like our old M5's)are a much maligned car.
I have an E92 dct with m performance exhaust and really could not be happier, very similar to the M5 midrange.
You know you miss the screaming engine and handling balance!

Just a thought..

As someone who has an F10 M5 and is considering a C63 507 (or new C63TT) when this lease finishes in 18 months, what made you get rid, boredom?

What are eastern doing on the comp pack then?s

Reason for change? Not bored, just feel it's the right time. Car's only done 22k so still new enough to selk quickly given the high spec. I reckon to date it has been my favourite car. Mega reliable and an absolute loon!

Peter Vardy in Edinburgh are doing a standard F10 M5 for £4k down, £760 a month over 4 years, which I still didn't think was great.

John Clark in Aberdeen were an absolute joke with their pricing, wanting £900+ a month on the same deal, and tried to quote me £1,300 a month for a Comp Pack with £3k down and my 1-year old BMW as a trade-in! Pi55 poor.

I heard of people getting them a year or so ago for £600ish, and I got offered an M3 for £530 per month with £5k down a year ago...

If BMW brought back the 0% finance and I could get an M5 for £600 a month I'd order one tomorrow.

I'm not sure if you've tried the F80 M3, but I test drove it back to back with the F10M M5 and the M5 is 10x the car. The quality, the noise, the comfort etc. When they can be had for the same price, I'm not sure why anyone would choose the M3...

Hope some of that helps.

Yeah I've driven the new M3. No deals planned on them for a long time due to demand. Didn't really get on with it anyway but I've been invited back for another go once it's run in properly.

Yeah, it's weird. The M5 cabin feels special, and with the Comp Pack the engine / exhaust sounds special.

I wasn't given any special instructions about "running in" or anything... The car had about 500 miles and I got it out for an afternoon so I just utterly spanked it. It didn't sound special. To my mind it didn't sound as good as an M135i, although it was a lot faster and inspired more confidence in bends. The cabin is boring too, almost exactly the same as the 3-Series / 1-Series.

You're right about the demand though, I doubt we'll start to see offers on them for at least a year or so.

I suppose at least one good thing is that I believe the F10 5-Series is due to be replaced by the GXX 5-Series in 2016, so perhaps next year we'll start to see some good run-out deals on the current M5?

I'm sure if you wait there will be those deals again. I suspect BMW is reluctant to offer them as it'll undercut the new M3/M4 so they'll probably do contributions on them both in a few months time once the buzz dies back. It doesn't make sense to lease one now when they were 33% cheaper only 4-5 months ago.

Also, just intrigued really, how do you guys who lease V8s handle BIK? Is there some sort of loophole that I don't know about?

Simples, they are leased privately so no BIK.
