RE: LaFerrari, 288, F40, F50 and Enzo: Time For Tea?

A road trip to Maranello with a 288 GTO, an F40, F50 and Enzo to celebrate collection of the owner's new LaFerrari. Oh to be a close friend of Ferrari collector Jon Hunt and called on to help out with that little ferrying job...

That this epic trip and the adventures that must have taken place on the road to Maranello are merely hinted at and the film instead focuses merely on a suitably chuffed Mr Hunt and his newly expanded collection might seem a cause for disappointment. After all, who wouldn't want to see an extended film of his foursome blasting across Europe to meet with LaFerrari.
We're instead left with (a pretty cool) photo of all the cars grouped together and a mental image of what the trip must've been like. As any film director will tell you, it's often what you don't show that's as powerful as what you do and the fly-splattered frontages of the cars that were driven out speak volumes of his ownership model.
Just a snippet of the cars in convoy somewhere in the Alps would have been nice though!

There's nine people in the photo - guess someone was sitting one someone else's lap for the drive down.
I'm guessing the main man was probably flown out by Ferrari in advance to complete paperwork and go through a nice bit of glad-handing before getting the keys to the LaF.Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
