Good evening Gents,

need some advice: about Griff Windscreen and the rubber seal replacement

1. is the Griff W-Scrceen exactly the same like chimaera?
2. how many Rubbers do i need?
3. may everyone tell me the order numbers? or have somebody these left?
4. are there quality differences between the suppliers?
5. Sealant is SikA-Flex, but which one?

thank you TTCspin

Can't help I'm afraid. If I were you I would try the Chim forum as it has a larger clientele.

I've just ordered door glass rubber and windscreen rubber (the T shaped lower section) from David Gerald TVR - http://www.davidgeraldtvr.com/index.asp

Can you say how much you paid for the windscreen rubber?
I take it this is the one my windscreen wipers bash at the bottom of the screen?
I think I need a) to change the sweep of my wipers b) a new seal

The combined total for the T channel rubber (that's the outer/lower windscreen section) and window seals - enough for both doors (that's the rubber lip that rubs against the door window) total cost was £29-00 including postage and arrived next day.
BTW I only needed the outer/lower section of the windshield rubber as this is the only bit that needs to come out (I hope!!) when the car gets resprayed. Give them a call they are very knowledgeable and apparently will get you what you need.
